Vinyl Siding Colors
If you need your home to have the
ability of standing out from all the other homes in your
neighborhood, then you could look into choosing various vinyl
siding colors as this would definitely do the
trick. Vinyl
siding the most popular choice for those homeowners
who want to protect their home’s exterior. They are long
lasting and do not need a lot of maintenance. They are made
with PVC material that is combined with additives, giving it
sufficient strength. They are also relatively easy to install,
however you may need a professional to do it for you.
Now although you want your house to be unique and stand out
form the rest, choosing a siding color which is extremely
bold and outrageous would probably not be a good idea, since it
could make your home a bit difficult to sell if ever you want
to in the future. It might be a good idea to search for a
certain color which would be able to seamlessly blend into the
other houses in your neighborhood.
Also another factor as you choose a color would be that it
has to be able to complement the rest of your house. Your porch
or deck also has to match the vinyl siding, meaning that the
deck’s paint must be of a neutral color so it would be blending
in nicely with the choice of vinyl color that you make.
Aside from choosing the color you would also need to be
mindful of the price as
well. Their prices could vary a bit depending on the brands,
colors and styles. Vertical vinyl sidings, which are new on the
market, are more expensive compared to the traditional
horizontal ones. Vertical vinyl sidings are a lot easier to
clean compared to the horizontal style.
The paint which is used to make the various siding
colors have acrylic resin and urethane and they can last
for a very long time in various weather conditions. Vinyl
panels could be rather durable and will not be damaged easily.
However, if there is one panel which becomes damaged, it could
not be fixed and the particular segment or panel would have to
be replaced.
There are quite a number of colors available for vinyl
siding, including reds, greens, browns, blues and creams. The
most popular choices today would be the creams and the light
browns. In the past, homeowners have been limited to just a
couple of choices of whites and pastels and so it was easy
enough to decide on a color. After choosing the color to use,
you would be able to coordinate your exterior using
complementary colors to use on your doors, window trims and
shutters.
When we chose our siding we picked a neutral taupe color and
then accented it with blue trim around the windows. We have one
of the best looking houses on the block and it never needs
painting.
